We report the status of the pre-experimental phase of a projectcalled “Combining Computational Thinking Didactics and Soft-ware Engineering in K-12” (COCONATS), which aims at combiningcomputational thinking and software engineering didactics in orderto facilitate the acquisition of software engineering principles inK-12, while promoting the development of life-skills.
