Various economic sectors involved directly or indirectly in shaping urban spatiality. Mining activity is among the most impactful for the period and selected locations. This research sought to answer the question of the principal effects of mining activity under the rules of post-Fordist mode of production, the mining industry in the production of urban space in Pedra Branca do Amapari, understanding them and comparing them with the purpose of another productive and cumulative logic, under the Fordist model identified in ICOMI project. To do so, rescue theoretical construction of the capitalist mode of production, from Fordism to post-Fordism and its flexible accumulation system, as well as networks and territory, seeking traces to understanding the reality of Pedra Branca do Amapari. Making use of retrospective observational studies, starting from effect to cause, the objective is to achieve a plausible explanation for the construction of social dynamics in Pedra Branca do Amapari. The application of semi-structured questionnaires with purpose of making contact with representatives of governmental and nongovernmental institutions, what we see is that in addition to specific formatting of Pedra Branca do Amapari space, the flexible accumulation system of post-Fordist molds, builds a net that defends the interests of the capital investor, disguising the care of minimum rights for payment of monies and transfers to public entities and civil society organizations. Organized into sections that first bring the materialist logic that influenced the dynamics of insourcing of the Brazilian, Amazon and Amapá economy; then the characterization of mining periods in both cities compared and conceptual assignment in their own sociability and different spatial results; and, finally, the identification of the dilemma in social and spatial structure in PBA, with indicators of improvement but obvious decline in the city quality of life
