Abstract

The central argument of this article is that environmental science is an emerging field that has the task of understanding, studying and research-ing the living system as a whole, including not only those beings who have the capacity and function of ascending life, running from the subatomic level to planetary life, into to mention the relationship between this planet and the universe as a living thing. It does not possess one single object of study but encompasses a network of various objects. It integrates scientific knowledge and ancestral wisdom, linear and nonlinear methods.
