We live a period of great transformations in technology and all sectors of society, including Education. In this context, lots of effort is done by educational institutions and teachers, so that schools insert the equipment needed for capable human resources, aiming at a qualified pedagogical work with the use of resources provided by technology. Based on that, this work aimed at reporting the development of a pedagogical practice using Google Classroom and gamification strategies to promote literary reading in the school context. Allied to that, it was used the app Whatsapp to promote the socialization of the proposed activities. As a theoretical basis, Ken ski (2013) and Moran (2014), approaching education and technology; Witt (2015) and MacGonial (2011) in relation to the Google Classroom and gamification, were used in this work. It was tempted to develop a qualitative research from a case study with students from the nineth year of Elementary Scholl, in view of acquiring knowledge involving technologies,textual reading and writing. For such, activities in form of challenges were used in order to motivate the participants and engage them in the activities. As a result, very positive reactions were observed from the motivation in participating with dedication in the solution of the activities with the use of technological tools.
