Resumen
This article aims to describe and contrast the leftist militant trajectories of two women from the generation of the 1950s from Greater Concepción in terms of political socialization processes, access to educational training, reproductive and productive roles, and, by the way, motivations, and experiences of participation in his militant work between the decades of the fifties and the eighties. Methodologically, the so-called oral history was used, which was complemented with private and public archival material. Despite their different socioeconomic positions, processes of political socialization, and influence of agents, discourses, and ideological referents, they transgressed the traditional cultural boundaries of gender in their political work and insertion in the complex relationship between the “public” and the “private” between the decades of the fifties and the eighties. © (2023), (Universidad de Tarapaca).
