Jacques Dubochet, Joachim Frank and Richard Henderson are jointly awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2017 for developing an effective method of biological three-dimensional molecular image generation. Biochemistry has reached a new era with this achievement by portraying Ångströmic resolution even after freezing the samples.
