The objective of this article is to characterize ethnomotor game as a pedagogical tool to support the teacher in early childhood. A qualitative descriptive bibliographic descriptive method of documentary analysis was used, through a systematic review. As a source of information, papers published in the Complementary Index, Academic Search Complete, Academic Source Premier, and Google Scholar databases were used during the period 2018 to 2022. For the descriptive analysis of the information, 25 documents were used during the selection criteria. The results show that game is a motivational factor for the teaching and learning process in early childhood. It is concluded that the ethnomotor game, when implemented as a pedagogical support tool for the teacher, also promotes the development of motor, cognitive, social, and linguistic skills, provides the opportunity for the child to learn in a playful way the culture and traditions of bodily practices.Este artículo tiene como objetivo caracterizar el juego etnomotriz como una herramienta pedagógica de apoyo al maestro en la primera infancia. Se utilizó un método cualitativo descriptivo bibliográfico de análisis documental a través de una revisión sistemática. Como fuente de información se utilizaron trabajos publicados en las bases de datos Complementary Index, Academic Search Complete, Fuente Académica Premier y Google Scholar durante el período 2018 al 2022. Para el análisis descriptivo de la información se seleccionaron 25 documentos que cumplían con los criterios de selección. Los resultados evidencian que el juego es un factor motivacional para el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje en la primera infancia. Se concluye que el juego etnomotriz al ser implementado cómo herramienta pedagógica de apoyo al maestro propicia además el desarrollo de habilidades motoras, cognitivas, sociales y lingüísticas brinda, la oportunidad del niño conocer de manera lúdica la cultura y tradiciones de las prácticas corporales.
