In this essay we reflect upon the area of sports and analyze reflexive possibilities around this theme in relation to the work "The Heirs" by Bourdieu and Passeron (2014). We question if, in the area of sports, one can consider the existence of "heirs", in the same logic as the "invisible inheritance" among the "heirs of the culture". By way of attendance and cultural value, we visualize in the sports area a perspective of the cultural capital element, in which, in the area of sports, the "heirs" are formed via social reproduction, under the logic of social distinction through corporeality. If to the "heirs of culture" there is a cultural capital exchange conducted almost by osmosis, to the "heirs of the sport" – those which by their physical body capital project their possibility of social ascension through the professionalization of sports – there is a restricted (and perverse) way to achieve such jobs.Neste ensaio, refletimos sobre o campo esportivo e analisamos possibilidades reflexivas em torno desta temática em relação à obra "Os herdeiros" de Bourdieu e Passeron (2014). Questionamos se no esporte podemos considerar a existência de "herdeiros", conforme a mesma lógica da "herança invisível" entre os "herdeiros da cultura". Pela via da frequentação e da cultura valor, visualizamos no esporte uma perspectiva de elemento de capital cultural, em que, no campo esportivo, os "herdeiros" são formados, via reprodução social, sob a lógica da distinção social por meio da corporalidade. Se aos "herdeiros da cultura" há a troca quase que por osmose de capital cultural, aos "herdeiros do esporte", aqueles que pelo seu capital físico-corporal projetam sua possibilidade de ascensão social pela profissionalização esportiva, há uma forma restrita (e perversa) para alcançar tais postos de trabalho.Florianópolis
