The objective of this work is to develop a mathematical model for interaction among companies based on the structure of small-world networks, and test the stability of different markets for different local and global disturbances in the network. The small world phenomenon (swp) has attracted the curiosity and fascination of the scientific community over the last 40 years at least. In its literature review, this work points out several studies emphasizing the different states in which an economic system can be found depending on the individual attitude of its players. The literature review shows that there are good evidences to model a market based on a small world structure. This work aims to investigate the implications of this theory in the industrial economy.O objetivo deste trabalho é desenvolver um modelo matemático para interação entre empresas baseado na estrutura de redes small-world, e testar a estabilidade de diferentes mercados para diferentes perturbações locais e globais na rede. O fenômeno do pequeno mundo, ou small-word phenomenon (swp), tem despertado a curiosidade e fascínio da comunidade cientifica nos últimos 40 anos pelo menos. O presente trabalho aponta em sua revisão de literatura vários trabalhos salientando os diferentes estados em que um sistema econômico pode se encontrar dependendo da atitude individual de seus jogadores. A revisão bibliográfica demonstra haver bons indícios para a modelagem de um mercado baseado em uma estrutura small world. Este trabalho tem o intuito de investigar a implicação desta teoria na economia industrial.São Cristóvão, SE
