The following paper aims to analyze a fintech founded in Brazil, regarding its financial indicators of Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE). Bibliographic data were collected to understand the term fintech and to define and analyze the rate of return on assets and the rate of return on equity. Subsequently, data were collected referring to the balance sheet and Consolidated Income Statement of the studied fintech, in the period from 2018 to 2019 through secondary data. The research was characterized as descriptive and quantitative. The ROA and ROE were calculated and the results obtained were analyzed. The company had negative ROA and ROE in the two years analyzed. A pesquisa se caracterizou como descritiva e quantitativa. Foi feito o cálculo do ROA e do ROE, e efetuadas as análises dos resultados obtidos. A empresa apresentou ROA e ROE negativos nos dois anos analisados. Ressalta-se que, para um estudo mais completo, propõem-se pesquisas futuras, abrangendo períodos temporais mais longos e usando outros indicativos financeiros além dos aqui tratados.2021-07-05
