This technical report is a result of research on the history of the Teatro Municipal de Uberlândia, a work of Oscar Niemeyer , who became subject to production of an audiovisual documentary "Between the Lines and Curves : a history of the Uberlândia Municipal Theatre". Using theories of cinema, archival research and oral history sought to understand the ideation process , construction and inauguration of the Teatro Municipal de Uberlândia and understand the role it plays in spreading the culture in the city of Uberlândia, Minas Gerais.Dissertação (Mestrado)Este relatório técnico é resultado de uma pesquisa sobre a história do Teatro Municipal de Uberlândia, uma obra de Oscar Niemeyer, que se tornou tema para produção de um documentário audiovisual intitulado “Entre Retas e Curvas: uma história do Teatro Municipal de Uberlândia”. Utilizando teorias do cinema, pesquisa documental e a História Oral buscou-se entender o processo de idealização, construção e inauguração, do Teatro Municipal de Uberlândia, bem como entender o papel que ele desempenha na disseminação da cultura na cidade de Uberlândia, em Minas Gerais.
