The Library System of the Federal University of Uberlandia - SISBI / UFU celebrated between 29/10 to 01/11 of 2018 the 3rd National Book and Library Week, with the theme: (IN)"Visible Trans-Colors: Trans Invisibility in Educational and Formal Work Spaces". It was necessary to discuss the daily life of transsexuals in the educational and labor market, as well as to debate the challenges faced in their daily reality in search of visibility and social belonging. Promoting respect for human diversity in search of an egalitarian social coexistence. As well as reflecting public policies and social actions that expand the guarantee of rights and transformations cultural partners in search of a tolerant and just society. The main objective of this project was to make SISBI / UFU fulfill its institutional mission by promoting lectures, debates, artistic, cultural activities and encouraging reading, as well as the dissemination of products and services offered by libraries in favor of consolidation of teaching, research and university extension. Therefore, make efforts in this regard, and understand that such initiatives can contribute to a process of social and educational formation permeated by culture, information, encouraging reading and respect for all diversity and, consequently, for the formation of more aware and inward citizens. from a more humanized perspective. SNLB / 2018 intended to open and continue this dialogue more than necessary, which is our term "Libraries for All" in our country. As the 2030 UN agenda advocates, no one can be left behind. Thus, we know that the challenge is many to meet the demands of the community and definitely include all people in the library spaces.2019O Sistema de Bibliotecas da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (SISBI/UFU) comemorará de 29 de outubro a 01 de novembro de 2018 a Semana Nacional do Livro e da Biblioteca (SNLB) com a temática “Trans - Cores (In)visíveis: a invisibilidade da comunidade Trans nos espaços educacionais e de trabalho formal”. Justifica-se a abordagem pela necessidade de discutir o cotidiano dos transgêneros no âmbito educacional, mercado trabalho, assim como as perspectivas e desafios enfrentados no dia a dia dentro de sua realidade e busca de visibilidade e pertencimento social, contribuindo para a construção da cidadania, dignidade e visibilidade do indivíduo transgênero através do debate de sua vivência. Promovendo o respeito à diversidade e singularidade humana em busca de convivência social igualitária, refletir sobre políticas públicas e ações sociais que amplia a garantia de direitos e transformações sócios culturais em busca de uma sociedade tolerante e justa. O objetivo principal deste projeto é fazer com o que o SISBI/UFU cumpra sua missão institucional por meio da promoção de atividades artísticas, culturais e de incentivo à leitura, bem como a divulgação dos produtos e serviços oferecidos pelas bibliotecas em prol da consolidação do ensino, pesquisa e extensão universitária. Portanto, envidar esforço nesse sentido, é entender que tais iniciativas podem contribuir para um processo de formação social e educacional permeado por cultura, informação, incentivo à leitura e respeito às todas as diversidades e, consequentemente para a formação de cidadãos mais conscientes e dentro de uma perspectiva mais humanizada.
