Defesa: Curitiba, 14/08/2012Bibliografia: fls. 203-209Resumo: Esta dissertação trata da produção de sentido sobre a criança atendida entre agentes de um conjunto de instituições que procedem à investigação, denúncia e julgamento de crimes contra a criança. As instituições deste conjunto são a Delegacia de Crimes Contra a Criança e o Adolescente - NUCRIA, a Promotoria de Crimes Contra a Criança e o Adolescente e a 12ª Vara de Crimes Contra a Criança e o Adolescente, todas localizadas no município de Curitiba. O percurso metodológico incluiu um estudo das mudanças históricas da percepção sobre a criança, destacando sua inserção na legislação vigente - internacional e nacional; a observação do cotidiano das três instituições em que os agentes pesquisados atuam; a realização de entrevistas não estruturadas e estruturadas com os agentes; a leitura de documentos produzidos pelas instituições que compõem os autos do processo penal. Apreendemos a produção de sentido dos agentes sobre a criança atendida de modo a situá-la no contexto da estrutura física e funcional de cada instituição, considerando as particularidades de cada órgão e ao mesmo tempo compreendendo que estes formam um conjunto articulado de práticas. Constatamos que, de acordo com a função e formação dos agentes, a produção de sentido se apresenta com diferentes enfoques com relação à especificidade da criança como pessoa diferente do adulto; a posse de direitos de proteção e liberdade, a condição de abordar e compreender a criança como sujeito de direitos. Na diversidade de sentidos que orientam os agentes, predomina a percepção da criança como pessoa a ser protegida, não em uma condição de titular de direitos.Abstract: This dissertation deals with the production of meaning on children attended between agents of a set of institutions that carry out research, reporting and prosecution of crimes against children. The institutions in this set are the Bureau of Crimes Against Children and Adolescents (NUCRIA), the Prosecutor's Crimes Against Children and Adolescents and the 12 th Criminal Court Against Children and Adolescents, all located in the city of Curitiba. The methodological approach included a study of the historical changes of perception about the child, emphasizing their integration in existing legislation - international and national; observing the daily life of three institutions in which agents act surveyed; interviews unstructured and structured with agents; documents produced by the institutions that make up the criminal case file. We tried to comprehend the meaning production of the agents on the child managed to situate this child in the context of physical and functional structure of each institution, considering the particularities of each body and at the same time realizing that they form an articulated set of practices. We note that, in accordance with the role and training of agents, the production of meaning is presented with different approaches with respect to specificity of the child as different from adults; ownership rights protection and freedom; the condition of approaching and understanding the children as subjects of rights. In the diversity of meanings that guide the agents, the predominant perception is the one that considers the child as a person to be protected, and not someone in condition to hold their rights.
