dc.descriptionO presente estudo tem como objetivo analisar as políticas educacionais e de ações afirmativas de promoção de igualdade racial, a partir de um levantamento das políticas que antecederam e foram posteriores à Lei 10639/2003- que institui a obrigatoriedade do ensino de História da África e Afro-brasileira nas instituições de ensino. Além disso, trata-se de uma discussão que tem a finalidade de compreender o campo curricular e suas vertentes, no que tange à implementação e à visibilidade da história da África e Afro-brasileira nos livros didáticos de história do Ensino Médio. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, realizada, por meio da análise bibliográfica, referentes às relações étnicos-raciais e curriculares brasileiras. Com isso, espera-se que as discussões e o conhecimento produzido a partir dessa investigação, possam colaborar para o campo de estudos referentes à Lei 10639/2003, contribuindo, assim, para ampliar e viabilizar propostas plurais sobre a diferença no currículo da educação básica. dc.descriptionThe present study aims to analyze the educational policies and affirmative actions to promote racial equality bringing a survey of these policies that preceded and were later Law 10639/2003 - which establishes the mandatory teaching of African and Afro-Brazilian history in educational institutions. This is a discussion, which aims to understand the curricular field and its aspects, with regard to the implementation and visibility of African and Afro-Brazilian history in high school history textbooks. The methodological assumptions consist of documentary research, through the analysis of bibliographies referring to ethnic-racial relations and their reflexes in the educational field. With that, it is expected that the discussions and the knowledge produced from this investigation, can collaborate to the field of studies referring to Law 10639/2003, contributing to expand and make possible plural proposals on the difference in the basic education curriculum.
