Integration of legacy and third-party software systems is almost mandatory for enterprises. This fact is based mainly on exchanging information with other entities (banks, suppliers, customers, partners, etc.). That is why it is necessary to guarantee the integrity of the data and keep these integration's up-to-date due to the different global business changes is facing today to reduce the risk in transactions and avoid losing information. This article presents a Systematic Mapping Study (SMS) about integrating software units at the component level. Systematic mapping is a methodology that has been widely used in medical research and has recently begun to be used in Software Engineering to classify and structure the research results that have been published to know the advances in a topic and identify research gaps. This work aims to organize the existing evidence in the current scientific literature on integrating software units for external and data loose coupling. This information can establish lines of research and work that must be addressed to improve the integration of low-level systems.La integración de sistemas de software heredados y de terceros es casi obligatoria para las empresas. Este hecho se basa principalmente en el intercambio de información con otras entidades (bancos, proveedores, clientes, socios, etc.). Es por ello que es necesario garantizar la integridad de los datos y mantener actualizadas estas integraciones debido a los diferentes cambios que enfrenta el negocio global en la actualidad para reducir el riesgo en las transacciones y evitar la pérdida de información. Este artículo presenta un estudio de mapeo sistemático (SMS) sobre la integración de unidades de software a nivel de componente. El mapeo sistemático es una metodología que ha sido muy utilizada en la investigación médica y recientemente se ha comenzado a utilizar en Ingeniería de Software para clasificar y estructurar los resultados de investigación que se han publicado para conocer los avances en un tema e identificar vacíos de investigación. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo organizar la evidencia existente en la literatura científica actual sobre la integración de unidades de software para el acoplamiento libre externo y de datos. Esta información puede establecer líneas de investigación y trabajo que deben abordarse para mejorar la integración de los sistemas de bajo nivel.
