This study presents results of a systematic mapping of the literature in the last five years (2016-2020), which sought to investigate the use of digital technologies in the teaching and learning process in Moodle. For this research, articles published on the CAPES Journal Portal were related. This virtual portal was selected for its great importance in the national and international scientific scenario. With significant contributions about research related to information technology in education. After selecting primary studies, thirty-one works were analyzed, which registered the highest frequencies for the use of the following digital resources: SPSS software, Moodle plugins and data mining applications. Among the main variables reported, the following stand out: learning in Moodle, monitoring activities and predicting student performance. Among the contributions, the following stand out: use of digital resources in the teaching and learning process, monitoring and forecasting of student performance. The research presented relevant contributions, mainly to improve and enhance the teaching and learning process in moments of social distancing in the distance education modality.Este estudo apresenta resultados de um mapeamento sistemático da literatura nos últimos cinco anos (2016-2020), em que buscou investigar o uso de tecnologias digitais no processo de ensino e aprendizagem no Moodle. Para essa pesquisa, foram selecionados artigos publicados no Portal de Periódicos da CAPES. Esse portal virtual foi escolhido pela sua grande importância no cenário científico nacional e internacional, com contribuições significativas acerca de pesquisas relacionadas à informática na educação. Após a seleção de estudos primários, foram analisados trinta e um trabalhos, os quais registraram as maiores frequências para a utilização dos seguintes recursos digitais: software SPSS, plugins do Moodle e aplicativos de mineração de dados. Dentre as principais variáveis relatadas destacam-se: a aprendizagem no Moodle, monitoramento de atividades e previsão de desempenho de estudantes. Dentre as contribuições, destacam-se: uso de recursos digitais no processo de ensino e aprendizagem, acompanhamento e previsão do desempenho de estudantes. A pesquisa apresentou contribuições relevantes, principalmente para aperfeiçoar e potencializar o processo de ensino e aprendizagem em momentos de distanciamento social na modalidade EaD.
