This paper seeks to reflect – in an essayistic character – the space of human-animal themes in the midst of the contemporary manifestations of art, in view of the propositions of Hal Foster (2014) and Isabelle Stengers (2018). For this, we will start from the texts O artista como etnógrafo, from the first, and A proposição cosmopolítica, from the second, using both as epistemological and reflexive lens to approach the theme.Este escrito procura refletir – em caráter ensaístico – o espaço da temática humano-animal em meio as manifestações contemporâneas da arte, face às proposições de Hal Foster (2014) e Isabelle Stengers (2018). Para isso, partiremos dos textos O artista como etnógrafo, do primeiro, e A proposição cosmopolítica, da segunda, utilizando-nos de ambos como lente epistemológica e reflexiva para abordagem do tema.
