In this paper is analyzed the energy balance in a west Amazoniapasture area (Rondonia) during the wet season. The aim is to understandthe influence of the rain and cloudiness in the surface energy division.The results showed that, on average, 38,81 % of the available energy wasconverted in latent heat and 23,99% was converted in sensible heat,remaining 37,18%. It is appreciated that around 30% of this remain energyis used to heat the water during the rain events.Neste trabalho é analisado o balanço de energia em área de pastagemna Amazônia ocidental (Rondônia), durante a estação chuvosa. Oobjetivo é investigar a influência da chuva e da nebulosidade na repartiçãoda energia em superfície. Os resultados mostraram que, em média,38,81% da energia disponível foram convertidos em calor latente, 23,99%em calor sensível, restando 37,18%. Desta energia remanescente estimaseque cerca de 30% seja utilizada para aquecer a água durante os eventosde precipitação.
