This work observes, in A exposição das rosas: duas novelas, by István Örkény, the human contradictions through the manifestations of reality that contribute to a process of reification, emphasizing the irreducible need to narrate what cannot be forgotten, at the same time in that one has the harrowing awareness that language cannot fully express such an experience.Este trabalho observa, em A exposição das rosas: duas novelas, de István Örkény, as contradições humanas através das manifestações da realidade que contribuem para um processo de reificação, enfatizando a necessidade irredutível de narrar aquilo que não pode ser esquecido, ao mesmo tempo em que se tem a consciência angustiante de que a linguagem não consegue expressar completamente tal experiência.
