This paper aims at analyzing the reading contract established in the novel Santa Evita, by Tomás Eloy Martinez. The links among the historical subject, the model and the character are put in relief, as well as the narrator's position.Este artigo tem por fim analisar o pacto de leitura do romance Santa Evita, de Tomás Eloy Martínez. Ressaltamos as relações entre ser histórico, modelo e personagem, bem como a posição do narrador.
