La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo describir las funciones ejecutivas (FFEE) en una población con diagnóstico del trastorno del espectro del autismo grado 1 (TEA), en edades entre los 12 y 16 años, evaluados a través de la prueba ATENTO. El estudio fue de tipo cuantitativo con un alcance descriptivo y de diseño transversal, con la que se contó con 8 participantes con diagnóstico de TEA grado 1, 8 cuidadores y 8 docentes, que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión a cabalidad. El procedimiento consistió en el diligenciamiento de la historia clínica de la ENI, que permitió obtener información del desarrollo prenatal, perinatal y postnatal; el test breve de inteligencia de KAUFMAN (K-BIT), prueba screening para la evaluación de aptitud intelectual y la medida de inteligencia verbal y no verbal y el Cuestionario ATENTO para la evaluación del TDAH y las FFEE que incluye, tres cuadernillos (familia, escuela y autoinforme). De acuerdo a los resultados obtenidos se identificaron las FFEE alteradas y conservadas; dentro de las alteradas se encuentran regulación emocional, memoria de trabajo y flexibilidad; por otro lado, las conservadas control atencional, regulación conductual, planificación y organización. Se hallaron similitudes en la memoria de trabajo (MT) anormal en los tres reportes presentados por los participantes mediante la prueba ATENTOThe aim of this research was to describe the executive functions (EFs) in a population with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder grade 1 (ASD), aged between 12 and 16 years, evaluated through the ATENTO test. The study was quantitative with a descriptive scope and crosssectional design, with 8 participants with a diagnosis of ASD grade 1, 8 caregivers and 8 teachers, who fully met the inclusion criteria. The procedure consisted of filling out the clinical history of the ENI, which allowed obtaining information on prenatal, perinatal and postnatal development; the KAUFMAN Brief Intelligence Test (K-BIT), a screening test for the evaluation of intellectual aptitude and the measurement of verbal and nonverbal intelligence; and the ATENTO Questionnaire, for the evaluation of ADHD and EFs, which includes three booklets (family, school and self-report). According to the results obtained, altered and preserved EFs were identified; among the altered EFs: emotional regulation, working memory and flexibility; on the other hand, the preserved EFs; attentional control, behavioral regulation, planning and organization.
