Cambios en el proyecto educativo de La República a Las Leyes de Platón

Abstract

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo central establecer cuáles son los cambios en la propuesta educativa de Platón en la República y las Leyes, al tener en cuenta que ambos son sus proyectos políticos fundacionales. Para ello se divide el texto en tres capítulos de la siguiente forma: en el primero, se hace un análisis comparativo de los aspectos educativos que ambas obras tienen en común, para dar paso a algunas diferencias que evidencien los cambios de las finalidades educativas en Leyes, como lo son la virtud cívica y la educación de lo irracional; en el segundo, se detallan tres mecanismos de formación; uno presente en ambos diálogos (la mímesis) y los otros dos totalmente novedosos en Leyes (Symposios y preámbulos de las leyes); en el tercer capítulo, se muestran dos aspectos de la administración educativa en la segunda ciudad, cuya finalidad es mantener el imperio de la ley (la Junta Nocturna y las nociones educativa en pro del rule of the law). De esta forma, cada sección muestra el cambio educativo, sus características e interpretaciones.

The main objective of this research is to establish which are the changes in Plato's educational proposal in the Republic and the Laws, taking into account that both are his foundational political projects. For this purpose, the text is divided into three chapters as follows: in the first, a comparative analysis is made of the educational aspects that both works have in common, to give way to some differences that show the changes in the educational purposes in Laws, such as civic virtue and the education of the irrational; in the second, three mechanisms of formation are detailed; one present in both dialogues (mimesis) and the other two completely new in Laws (Symposios and preambles of the laws); in the third chapter, two aspects of the educational administration in the second city are shown, whose purpose is to maintain the rule of law (the Nocturnal Council and the educational notions in favor of the rule of law). In this way, each section shows the educational change, its characteristics and interpretations.
