Los niños y adolescentes presentan desafíos constantes en esta etapa de la vida, en sus habilidades de comunicación e interacción social incidiendo en la participación y el desempeño ocupacional de acuerdo a sus intereses en el juego; el objetivo es identificar el interés en el juego de los niños, niñas y adolescentes de quinto primaria, por medio de los instrumentos de evaluación perfiles de intereses de los niños, niñas y adolescentes y las habilidades de comunicación de interacción, determinando las ocupaciones específicas en el juego. Con una metodología descriptiva, observacional con corte transversal, desde la mirada de Terapia ocupacional en tres contextos. Con una población total de 140 escolares, se obtuvo como resultado en los dominios: físico un 50.3% correspondiendo al puntaje de 3 (cuestionable); intercambio de información un 34.3% perteneciente a 2 (inefectivo) y por último de relaciones con 40% permitiendo ubicarlo en 3 (cuestionable). Para concluir estas habilidades se ven afectadas principalmente cuando no cuenten con figuras de autoridad o sea por el uso de medios tecnológicos (celular); además pueden trascender a otros ambientes fuera de la institución y hasta incluso verse reflejado en su dinámica familiar. Children and adolescents present constant challenges in this stage of life, in their communication skills and social interaction, affecting participation and occupational performance according to their interests in the game; The objective is to identify the interest in the game of children and adolescents in fifth grade, through the evaluation instruments interest profiles of children and adolescents and interaction communication skills, determining the specific occupations in the game. With a descriptive, observational methodology with a cross section, from the point of view of Occupational Therapy in three contexts. With a total population of 140 schoolchildren, the result was obtained in the domains: physical 50.3% corresponding to a score of 3 (questionable); exchange of information, 34.3% belonging to 2 (ineffective) and finally relations with 40% allowing to place it in 3 (questionable). To conclude, these abilities are affected mainly when they do not have authority figures, that is, by the use of technological means (cell phones); In addition, they can transcend to other environments outside the institution and even see themselves reflected in their family dynamics.
