Resumen
This research project focuses on the re-signification of a bilingual learning environment with a hybrid methodology oriented to the teaching and learning of English as a foreign language in a higher education institution, therefore the main objective is to address the educational challenges of the 21st century from the Learning Environments axis and provide key recommendations to achieve an effective implementation and strengthen such an environment.
The research adopted a qualitative approach, through an intervention study with a pedagogical and exploratory research intention, as it is a design based on needs and problems identified in context. The findings of this study contribute to current efforts to align foreign language teaching with the emerging challenges of today's society, seeking to transform this reality at the micro, meso and macro levels, thus enhancing the development of 21st century skills for meaningful learning.
