        Resumen
This research project arises as a need to make visible problems related to teaching English as a foreign language to deaf students. According to DANE, Deafness is one of the most common but least recognized condition in Colombia. Its main objective is to reflect on the curricular aspects that involve pre-service and in service teachers training in teaching EFL to deaf students in Bogotá. For that, there is conducted a documentary revision and analysis of educational policies, syllabi, and study plans of EFL bachelor’s degree programs public information. In addition, some interviews and surveys are applied on the perspectives about training of teachers and pre service teachers and their experiences attending deaf students. According to the findings, there is a necessity to recognize the implementation of strategies of curricular adaptation to guaranty real classroom inclusion of deaf students, besides, it is important to understand EFL teachers training to teach deaf students and its relation to curricular aspects of higher education institutions. Finally, findings show that there are not well recognized, established and implemented guidelines to teach EFL to deaf students in Colombia because teaching EFL is thought from the generality but not from the reality of Colombian students’ backgrounds.
