        Resumen
        This research arises as a proposal for the strengthening of emotional intelligence in boys and girls of the transition grades of the Gimnasio de los Andes and Fabio Puerta schools in Ubaté (Cundinamarca) through artistic languages in the context of the return to face-to-face education, due to the need of children to learn to identify and control their emotions after virtual education, which influenced their formative and social process. Therefore, the objective is to understand how artistic languages contribute to the development of emotional intelligence of children in the context of return to face-to-face education, from the approaches of psychologist Daniel Goleman, in addition the proposal has four categories: early education, early childhood, emotional intelligence and artistic languages that allow guiding the process in a relevant way, likewise to carry out the analysis a methodology from the qualitative approach was addressed, with a descriptive and interpretive scope and a type of action research. Similarly, collection techniques such as: participant observation, semi-structured interviews and the implementation of playful-pedagogical workshops were implemented, which allowed us to conclude that artistic languages become an inexhaustible source of tools to express a wide and rich range of feelings and emotions. Nevertheless, the children were able to immerse themselves in that exploration, transformation and essence that artistic languages generate in favor of an enrichment of emotional intelligence.
