This research arises from the needs found in the La Fe children's home in the city of Sincelejo-Sucre on practices in comprehensive risk management (GIR), for the creation of safe and sustainable spaces as a mitigation and prevention process against any For this reason, the design of a manual is proposed as a didactic strategy of simple interpretation aimed at children in early childhood. The design of the manual is developed from three objectives such as: knowing the institution, planning the strategy and evaluating the impact generated in its application. It is made up of an inductive-deductive scheme based on a qualitative approach; For the respective follow-up, the interview is used as information gathering and rubric that evaluates the impact of the manual. As an analysis of the final result, we worked with boys and girls from the nursery, kindergarten and pre-kindergarten grades, where they showed assertive responses to the handling of symbols and drill practices, indicating how through experience and the use of a manual as didactic resource facilitates and reinforces knowledge in comprehensive risk management.
