Resumen
This is a descriptive investigation that aims to establish the level of development of the moral conscience of the students of the Santo Tomás University in the university attention centers of Cúcuta, Duitama, Medellín, Neiva, Quibdó and Yopal in which a level of Conventional character characterized by the fact that the person lives according to what is expected of her, against which a pedagogical proposal is proposed that allows to form their awareness until taking it to a post-conventional level characterized by being aware of diversity and the importance of the social contract and universal ethical principles. The method basically consists of three stages: a first of analysis and theoretical reflection; a second stage constitutes the approach to the reality of the university community where the different levels of moral development of the subjects are evident. From the data collected, an analysis of being with what should be is developed. The analyzes showed that conscience is a proper and exclusive faculty of the human being, that Education is the adequate tool to promote the process of development of moral conscience and for this reason it is the responsibility of this to promote spaces for reflection and apply Formation of Moral Conscience actions leading to their graduates being located in professional performance from the perspective of a post conventional level.
