Políticas, saberes y prácticas de Educación Sexual: reflexiones en torno a las tensiones entre las políticas y su implementación en colegios públicos de Bogotá 2010-2022

Abstract

Due to new generations’ necessities, expectations, and experiences, they have sharpened the speeches that talk about quality education and the possibilities to generate environments and politics to concrete this aim. On this context, it’s considered that ES (onwards ES) takes part of the essential elements that increase the list of responsibilities that the school must assume to train the students with the necessary skills for the XXI century. However, the ways used to approach topics related to sexuality at the high school evidence the necessity to transform the educative practices in the institutions in such a way that ES becomes a strategy to understand the speeches that emerge on this field as result of social interaction and the situations that young people live nowadays, namely, the idea about sexuality as a biological process, exclusively, and the preventions and risks approaches from which it has been thought ES must transit toward a more free perspective of the sexuality in which the young people’s rights be recognized to enjoy their bodies and to make responsible decisions related to their sexuality. From the above, it can be said that sometimes, the politics, speeches and practices about ES emerge from different places of enunciation that clearly doesn’t allow their articulation. Therefore, the investigation entitled: Politics, knowledge, and stories about ES arises: Reflections around tensions between politics and their implementation at public schools in Bogota 2010-2022, that has as a goal to analyze the critical meanings present in the ES public politics related to the formative practices at the public schools from Bogota.
