The purpose of this document is to present the activities and achievements obtained in the development of the professional internship, associated with the analysis of the opportunity and effectiveness of the portfolio collection procedure from BBI Colombia SAS clients, in order to establish more suitable strategies. management and monitoring of these. This study was carried out in the company's treasury department, more precisely in the accounts receivable area, an instance made up of two people, the leader and the analyst (intern).
To carry out this purpose, firstly, a financial analysis of the current situation of the composition of accounts receivable was developed. Secondly, the portfolio management process carried out in the company was evaluated. This made it possible to establish technical adjustments to optimize the collection procedure in the short term. After its application, positive results are achieved, since it was possible to simplify the time spent in this work and improve communication and trust with customers.
