Sexualidade nos anos iniciais nas Políticas Públicas Educacionais

Throughout the years the topic of sexuality in school was seen as a taboo, especially
in the early years. Talking about sexuality with children is always very complicated,
since the theme encompasses issues that go beyond classroom content, such as
political, social and religious issues, and because of this complexity, the issue is
often overlooked. This work is a study carried out from the reading of documents that
serve as teaching guidelines and that deal with the subject, where it was observed
what these documents and files say about the teaching of sexuality in the initial
years. The analyzed documents were the Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais
(PCNs) and the Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) what was been observed
in the making of public policies over the years related to the sexual education was
the reduction, or ever omission, of the subject in official documents.
