Resumen
The Environmental Health Indicator is an instrument that covers both qualitative and quantitative characterization of water supply services, sanitary sewage, solid waste, vector control, the
situation of springs and the socioeconomic indicator of the municipalities (CONESAN, 1999). In the case of ISA/CONDOR, the Water Supply, Sanitary Sewage, Urban Solid Waste, Urban Drainage, Vector Control and Socioeconomic Indicators were analyzed, where the choice of 2nd order indicators was made by literature review, based on the indicators addressed by ISA/CONESAN. Moreover, the urban drainage indicator was included because it is one of the pillars of basic sanitation. For the choice of 3rd order indicators, the existence of the necessary data for the equations was considered. The attribution of indicator weights depends on the municipal reality, so the same weights adopted by ISA/CONESAN were considered. Comparing the final result of ISA/CONDOR, with the methodology adapted from Batista (2005 apud Silva 2006), the municipality of Condor has Medium Salubrity, due to its value of 59.07%. In this way, the municipality needs improvements, especially in relation to sanitary sewage, which obtained the worst result, and the indicator for vector control, which significantly influenced the environmental salubrity. On the other hand, the water supply indicator and the urban drainage indicator were the indicators that obtained the best results. It is recommended that periodic updates be carried out for the ISA/CONDOR indicators, as their application represents a definite moment. Thus, this indicator could control the municipality's investment in public policies related to basic sanitation.
