Os temas transversais no currículo escolar: realidade ou utopia?

This study sought to understand how the Transversal Subjects in the resume
of the public schools of the region of Nova Santa Marta, Sete de Dezembro e Alto da
Boa Vista, in the Santa Maria’s city, are inserted. We point the work with the
Transversal Subjects as important curricular conception, understanding that they can
contribute in a significant way for the student’s emancipation and to the reality where
the same ones are inserted, since what is taught and lived deeply in the school has a
strong link with the social, politician, economic and cultural context it is inserted. We
defend that the professionals who act in these institutions of education need to
question to what, who and for are their service. They are exerting its paper of
educators; rethink its conceptions, re-significant the paper of the resume, ahead of
the context where we live, and also the work with the Transversal Subjects, that
intimateness are related with the experience human being and the social
emancipation of the students that frequent these institutions of education. This
research is characterized, methodologically, for the case study, because we look for
to investigate aspects related to the resume and the Transversal Subjects in schools
that are part of one same partner-politics-economic-cultural reality. It’s based, mainly,
in to the light of the writings of Pablo Freire, J. Gimeno Sacristán and Brown
Montsserrat that bring reflections on the professor practical, Transversal Subjects
and conceptions of resume. Still contribute, authors as Jose Luis Sanfelice, arguing
questions as after-modernity, globalization and education, and Silvio Gallo whose
ranks defend a new way to treat the knowledge in the pertaining to school environment.
