Processo de Produção Musical de Uma Track Pop-Funk Baseado Nas Referências do Artista: Um Relato De Experiência

Abstract

The present work seeks to report the process of a musical production independent of a track in the pop-funk style based on the references presented by the artist, in order to serve as inspiration and study for other beginning music producers, as students during the course of Music and Technology at UFSM did not have direct contact with music production. The objectives of this experience report were to select the elements of the most relevant references for inspiration, musical structure, arrangement design, construction of timbres, mixing and mastering according to the proposed style. Through bibliography, we sought to support the need for a music producer and its characteristics, independent production in Brazil and the importance of pop music today. During the report screen captures were taken and together with the softwares Ableton Live and Reaper, it was possible to perform all the technical and artistic procedures required in production up to the track distributed on the streaming platforms.
