Resumen
The energy demand is growing, that occurs, this is due to economic development and population increase.
The energy matrix depends on burning of fossil fuels such gas natural and coal. The burning of that result
in the generation of polluting gases, aggravating the global warming. Thus, the need to diversify the
national energy matrix with solu tions that use renewable resources is evident. One of the most prominent
sources in this context is photovoltaic. A photovoltaic panel generates electricity with continuous voltages,
usually less than 50 V. The voltage level of residences and industries reaches 220 V in alternating current.
To ensure the maximum power extraction from a PV, a micro inverter (MIC) can be used. A DC bus MICs
are composed of two stages: DC DC and AC AC. The first is a high voltage gain converter which raises the
the PV voltage (less than 50 V) to the 400V bus voltage. The second is an inverter that convert the 400 V
DC bus to the main supply voltage (220V alternating). One of the most great challenges of this setup is
achieve a high throughput. Thus, this work aims to present a proposal for a high voltage gain DC DC
converter associated with a coupled inductor and a voltage doubler, seeking the following characteristics:
simplicity, high efficiency, reduced number of components, low voltage and current stresses on
components.
