The present work has as its theme the Archival Science in the context of international human mobility, with regard to the insertion of refugees and immigrants in situations of social vulnerability at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM). The interest in the subject emerged gradually, as an academic and individual growth and identification in issues related to society and human rights. The objectives are to analyze the migratory system, the refuge system and the Brazilian migration regularization, to identify programs and analyze the documentary demand in the context of human
mobility in higher education and demonstrate the importance of the archival document in the context of international migration, as well as the legal and legal aspects linked to document status and access to rights. The methodology is characterized as exploratory, based on techniques of bibliographic survey and participatory observation. The expected results are to identify the Archival Science in the process of insertion of refugee and immigrant students in vulnerable situations in UFSM, as well as to propose themes that can be deepened in future research.
