This work has as its main theme, the performance of school management, in the person of the pedagogical coordinator. This work has the following question as a research problem: What is the importance of the pedagogical coordinator in the processes of early childhood education and early years and the importance of his/her role in primary school? Its general objective is to analyze the importance of the role of the pedagogical coordinator within educational institutions, and their role in the processes they develop. And as specific objectives, bring the legal aspects related to the role of the pedagogical coordinator, his role in early childhood education institutions and early years. This study is methodologically based on qualitative research, which aims to collect data on the role of the pedagogical coordinator to define the importance that this professional exerts in their workplace, and a descriptive study based on my reports of experience and professional experience. in the period of extracurricular internship, in the pedagogical coordination sector, in a private educational institution in Santa Maria, from February 13, two thousand and nineteen, to February 7, two thousand and twenty. With this work, I conclude that the pedagogical coordinator is a dynamic and sensitive professional, who always seeks to provide exchanges of knowledge and experiences, sharing knowledge, always in favor of offering the best education.
