Realistic Simulation is a theoretical-practical teaching tool, which aims to encourage mutual cooperation between teams, providing a development of critical thinking and increased skills based on the debriefing technique, which is performed at the end of the simulation, in order to enhance the learning of techniques used in nursing. This work aims to know what the literature has discussed about the debriefing technique in nursing/health teaching. This is a literature review, in which articles from the last ten years were selected, covering the years 2012 to 2022, constituting a sample of 13 articles, which allowed observing the use of debriefing after the simulated scenario was carried out. It was found that the debriefing is indisputably important for the improvement of techniques replicated in the real service environment, providing a reflection on the mistakes and successes of the participants in the simulation. This study contributes to teaching, research and assistance, within the scope of the debriefing technique and realistic simulation in the context of nursing/health.A Simulação Realística é uma ferramenta de ensino teórico-prático, que tem o intuito de incentivar a cooperação mútua entre as equipes, proporcionando um desenvolvimento do pensamento crítico e aumento de habilidades a partir da técnica do debriefing, que é realizada ao final da simulação, com o intuito de potencializar o aprendizado das técnicas utilizadas na Enfermagem. O referido trabalho tem como objetivo conhecer o que a literatura tem discutido sobre a técnica do debriefing no ensino da enfermagem/saúde. Trata-se de uma revisão de literatura, na qual foram selecionados artigos dos últimos dez anos, compreendendo os anos de 2012 a 2022, constituindo uma amostra de 13 artigos, que permitiram observar o emprego do debriefing após a realização do cenário simulado. Constatou-se que o debriefing é indiscutivelmente importante para o aperfeiçoamento de técnicas replicadas no ambiente real de atendimento, proporcionando uma reflexão acerca dos erros e acertos dos participantes da simulação. Este estudo contribui para o ensino, pesquisa e assistência, no âmbito de técnica de debriefing e simulação realística no contexto da enfermagem/saúde.
