Resiliência das famílias de crianças com transtorno do espectro autista na pandemia de covid-19 no Amapá

Resumen
Objective: to analyze key processes of resilience existing in families of children
with TEA in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic in the State of Amapá. Method: it is
of a qualitative research of a descriptive nature, of the case study type, which was
based on Yin's methodological framework. Data collection took place during the
February to October 2022. After categorization of the data, the study used the
theoretical basis of Walsh's family resilience, to identify the key processes
existing in the family of the interviewed participants, in order to show how the system
Families face different experiences and how they affect the family and its
relations. Results: the COVID-19 pandemic represented an adversity to be
faced by families. The participating families showed vulnerability in the
key processes of communication and expression of feelings. And the key processes of
readaptation to the pandemic period; connectivity between members; networks of
support and spirituality were seen as protective factors. Conclusion: it was noticed
that in the families of this study, family resilience is dynamic and through its processes-
key it was possible to analyze that its points of vulnerability were established through the
inability to deal with the individual differences of each family member together
and the protection factors presented were the readjustment of their routines, their
connectivity, family support networks, their communication processes, interactions
pleasures between family and through spirituality.
