Los habitantes de la Región del Catatumbo han sido una población altamente afectada por el conflicto armado y por el abandono por parte del Estado, lo cual se ha convertido en un problema que ha generado en los últimos años deserción escolar en la institución educativa Filo el Gringo en la vereda cuatro Esquinas, del municipio Santander. A partir de esta problemática se propuso realizar una investigación con el objetivo de plantear una propuesta psicopedagógica construida desde la perspectiva de los niños y familias de la institución que contribuyan a pensar la escuela como un territorio de paz. Se desarrolló una investigación cualitativa de tipo investigación acción donde a partir de la realización de entrevistas a padres de familia y de una actividad participativa: la Cartografía social se pudo reconocer las necesidades sentidas de los escolares y sus padres lo cual contribuyó a la elaboración de la propuesta psicopedagógica la cual se basa en dos acciones fundamentales la formación y reforzamiento de los valores y conductas y la creación de una institución educativa integral de paz y amor.The inhabitants of the Catatumbo Region have been a population highly affected by the armed conflict and by the abandonment by the State, which has become a problem that has generated in recent years school dropouts in the educational institution Filo el Gringo in the village Cuatro Esquinas, in the Santander municipality. Based on this problem, it was proposed to carry out an investigation with the objective of proposing a psycho-pedagogical proposal built from the perspective of the children and families of the institution that contribute to thinking of the school as a territory of peace. A qualitative investigation of the action research type was developed where, from interviews with parents and a participatory activity: Social Cartography, it was possible to recognize the felt needs of schoolchildren and their parents, which contributed to the elaboration of the psychopedagogical proposal which is based on two fundamental actions: the formation and reinforcement of values and behaviors and the creation of a comprehensive educational institution of peace and love.
