The objective of this case study is to determine the differences that exist between the two best-known video game engines in the world, such as Unity and Unreal. For this, a descriptive and documentary methodology was used with an observation research technique. In addition, the work has an observation table, which had the application of all the aspects found as a programming mode or a way to export the video game among others, in turn it was possible to determine what are the differences that exist between both engines for the video game development on the Android operating system. As a result, it was possible to obtain the main differences that exist between the most popular video game development engines in the industry, which are between Unity and Unreal. El presente caso de estudio tiene como objetivo determinar cuáles son las diferencias que existen entre los dos motores de videojuegos más conocido en el mundo como son Unity y Unreal. Para ello, se utilizó la metodología de tipo descriptiva y documental con una técnica de investigación observación. Además, el trabajo cuenta una tabla de observación, la cual tuvo la aplicación de todos los aspectos encontrados como modo de programación o modo de exportar el videojuego entre otros, a su vez se pudo determinar cuáles son las diferencias que existes entre ambos motores para el desarrollo de videojuegos en el sistema operativo Android. Como resultado se pudo obtener las principales diferencias que existen entre los motores de desarrollos de videojuegos más populares de la industria, que son entre Unity y Unreal.
