| dc.description | This inquiry determines the current situation of the hotel sector and its contribution to the economic growth of the municipality of Estelí; the problem that has had a negative impact on the hotel sector is the socio-political crisis that took place in Nicaragua in 2018 and that affected the demand for this service due to the uncertainty of its consumers. To exit, the hotel sector will be characterized, the factors of incidence will be described and the elements that contribute to economic growth will be proposed, strategies that will improve the situation of the sector. Among the main results are that the hotel sector is characterized by low load capacity and few permanent collaborators which does not allow the effective execution of hotel tasks, among the burning factors affect the situation of the sector is unemployment of the Esteli population, as well as uncertainty towards the security of the country. The elements of the hotel sector that contribute the most to economic growth are the generation of employment, the training of its employees and the promotion of private investment. The strategies that need to be taken into account to improve the situation are to retain their customers through a database of recurring customers, to achieve a better adaptation to the changes that arise, and to make hotels apolitical business. | en-US |
| dc.description | La presente indagación determina la situación actual del sector hotelero y su aporte al crecimiento económico del municipio de Estelí; la problemática que ha tenido un impacto negativo sobre el sector hotelero es la crisis sociopolítica que se vivió en Nicaragua en el año 2018 y que afectó la demanda de dicho servicio debido a la incertidumbre de sus consumidores. Para dar salida se caracterizará el sector hotelero, se describirán los factores de incidencia e identificarán los elementos que aportan al crecimiento económico de lo cual se propondrán estrategias que mejoren la situación del sector. Entre los principales resultados se encuentran que el sector hotelero se caracteriza por poseer poca capacidad de carga y pocos colaboradores permanentes lo que no permite la eficaz ejecución de las tareas de los hoteles, entre los factores quemas afectan la situación del sector está el desempleo de la población esteliana, así como también la incertidumbre hacia la seguridad del país. Los elementos del sector hotelero que más aportan al crecimiento económico son la generación de empleo, la formación de sus colaboradores y el fomento a la inversión privada. Las estrategias que más deben tomar en cuenta para mejorar la situación son fidelizar a sus clientes a través de una base de datos de los clientes recurrentes, lograr una mejor adaptación a los cambios que se presenten, y hacer de los hoteles negocios apolíticos. | es-ES |
