Resumen
Abstract:
The Tarte Tatin is an inverted traditional French dessert created by the Tatin Sisters, it became popular in the early XX century. It is made apples caramelized with sugar and covered with puff pastry. It is baked until a golden crust and the pastry’s traditional fine layers are formed. Even though puff pastry’s origins are not French, it was introduced to France during the time of the crusades. It became more and more popular until the technique was perfected.
La Tarta Tatin es un postre invertido tradicional francés creado por las hermanas Tatin y popularizado a principios del siglo XX, se realiza a base de manzanas caramelizadas con azúcar, cubierta con una pasta hojaldre, se hornea hasta tener una constancia dorada y sus características capas crujientes, aunque la pasta hojaldre tiene sus origines fuera de Francia, se introdujo en la época de las cruzadas popularizándose hasta perfeccionar la técnica.
