Currently there is a growing problem in public pension systems due to the breakdown of their structures; Several authors point out that pension spending has become one of the main pressures for public finances directly affecting investment spending, so the main objective of the research has been to show the current situation of the pension fund for the workers of the Government of the State of Nayarit.En la actualidad existe una creciente problemática en los sistemas de pensiones públicos debido al quiebre de sus estructuras; diversos autores señalan que el gasto en pensiones se ha conformado en una de las principales presiones para las finanzas públicas afectando directamente al gasto en inversión, por tanto el principal objetivo de la investigación ha sido mostrar la situación actual del fondo de pensiones para los trabajadores del Gobierno del Estado de Nayarit.
