This article analyzes, studies, and characterizes the fears and uncertainties that affect the civilian population that arose during the Mexican Revolution, when the constitutionalist revolutionaries besieged the city of Mazatlán between 1913 and 1914. Within this con­text, we seek to explain how Mazatlan society He dealt with fear, violence and the after­math of the civil war, as well as with changes in attitudes, collective behavior and other aspects that marked daily life within the besieged city.Este artículo analiza, estudia y caracterizar los temores e incertidumbres que afectan a la población civil que surgen durante la Revolución Mexicana, cuando los revolucionarios constitucionalistas sitiaron la ciudad de Mazatlán entre 1913 y 1914. Dentro de este con­texto, se busca explicar cómo la sociedad mazatleca lidió con el miedo, la violencia y las secuelas de la guerra civil, así como con los cambios en las actitudes, comportamientos colectivos y otros aspectos que marcaron la vida cotidiana dentro de la ciudad sitiada.
