ABSTRACT: The purpose of this work is the petrophysical evaluation and the interpretation of seismic information of the Cloudspin field, through the analysis and data processing of 3 wells: Albite-F1, Citrine-1 and Gypsum-A6, in conjunction with the seismic data of the field. Due to its geographical position (northwest of the Gulf of Mexico), and according to the chronostratigraphic information, the Cloudspin field is identified as a deltaic environment, with stratigraphic data from the Paleocene, contributing continental sediments derived from its proximity with the Mississippi River and marine sediments generated and affected by the conformation of the Gulf of Mexico. The field shows the presence of outcrops of Quaternary sediments consisting mainly of shales and clay sands. These features in particular show a first semblance of the stratigraphic characteristics and oil system that predominate in the area. This work is based on the geological information collected through the existing literature of the study area. For the geological reconstruction, were analyzed the structural, lithological and tectonoestratigraphic characteristics that contributed to the understanding of the evolutionary history of the Cloudspin field. These characteristics were later visualized through seismic modeling and the interpretation of the well logs. For the processing of seismic data in 2D and 3D, Petrel® software was used. It began with the identification and marking of horizons, helping us from the summits of the formations: Paris, Houston Base, Houston, Dallas, Kobe and Caracas. This allowed to visualize the most outstanding structural elements (faults), which were marked in the same way for their integration in the final interpretation. Subsequently, surface maps were made for the main horizons of each formation, as well as seismic cubes that allowed to identify the behavior of the different petrophysical parameters in the area, this help us to visualize in a more precise way the zones of economic interest. Similarly, the Interactive Petrophysics® software was used to analyze the information from the geophysical well logs. From this perspective, the records of 3 wells were plotted: Albite-F1, Citrine-1 and Gypsum-A6, zoning with respect to the peaks of the same formations mentioned above. For the petrophysical evaluation, a methodology was used that consisted in performing some calculations (such as formation temperature, clay volume, water saturation, formation fluid resistivity and variograms), which, in turn, allowed to determine the pay zones of the field through the analysis and interpretation of the information granted by the well logs. Finally, the information obtained was complemented with geological data to characterize in an integral way the properties of the field. Through the analysis of stratigraphy of sequences (seismic stratigraphy), it was possible to identify the main events that occurred in the area during the conformation of the stratigraphic record. It was identified that the region covered by the 3 wells studied suffered alterations due to marine transgressions and transgressions, events that generated the intercalation of materials. In the same way an intrusion of a salt dome was identified, which caused the entrapment of the hydrocarbon generated mainly by the Paris and Kobe formations. In addition to the recognition of different structures type down-lap, top-lap, truncations and concordances that also contributes in the construction of the oil system.
