Diseño de un modelo sistémico de turismo urbano para la ciudad digital, inteligente y del conocimiento de la ciudad de México caso de estudio: centro histórico-alameda

Abstract

RESUMEN: Esta investigación tiene como objetivo construir una propuesta sistémica conceptual que vincule el turismo urbano con el modelo Smart City para que el sector turístico contribuya al alcance de los objetivos del gobierno de la Ciudad de México en cuanto al desarrollo del modelo de Ciudad digital, inteligente y del conocimiento de la Ciudad de México. Bajo este entendimiento, en primer lugar, se elaboró una revisión sistemática de la literatura con el objetivo de explorar la amplitud de estudio de la literatura del turismo urbano en un entorno Smart y que ocupa el Enfoque de Sistemas, para poder identificar las áreas desarrolladas, los desafíos en su investigación, así como temas emergentes y brechas de conocimiento. Posteriormente y, en segundo lugar, se realizó una revisión no exhaustiva de los documentos del turismo urbano, para investigar su trayectoria en relación con su ambiente. Derivado de lo anterior, ante una inexistente relación entre ambos sistemas, se propone vincular al turismo urbano con su actual ambiente urbano, la Smart City. En consecuencia, se construye y se propone el término de turismo urbano inteligente (en inglés Smart Urban Tourism - SmUT). Finalmente, en tercer lugar, se identificó que el término SmUT requiere de un instrumento para poder medirlo. Por lo tanto, se realizó una revisión no exhaustiva de los estudios que proponen indicadores para medir el turismo urbano, así como la Smart City; como resultado, se presentan los indicadores existentes en ambas áreas como parte de un primer acercamiento a la creación de un instrumento que sea útil para medir el turismo urbano inteligente de la Ciudad de México y de otras ciudades de América Latina. ABSTRACT: The objective of this research is to construct a conceptual systemic proposal which links urban tourism with the Smart City model so that the tourism sector contributes to the achievement of the objectives of the government of Mexico City in terms of the development of the digital, intelligent City model. Under this understanding, in the first place, a systematic literature review was conducted with the aim of exploring the extent of the urban tourism literature in a Smart environment and that uses the Systems Approach to outline its research trajectory and to detect its trends of exploring the amplitude of study of urban tourism literature and that uses the Systems Approach, in order to identify the developed areas, the challenges in its research, as well as emerging issues and gaps in knowledge. Subsequently, and secondly, a non-exhaustive review of urban tourism documents was carried out to investigate urban tourism trajectory in relation to its environment. Derived from the above, in the absence of any relationships between both systems, it is proposed to link urban tourism with its current urban environment, the Smart City. As a result, the term of Smart Urban Tourism (SmUT) is built and proposed. Finally, in the third place, it was identified that the SmUT term requires an instrument to be able to measure it. Therefore, a non-exhaustive review was made of the studies that propose indicators to measure urban tourism, as well as the Smart City; as a result, the existing indicators in both areas are shown as part of a first approach to the creation of an instrument which could be useful for measuring the smart urban tourism in Mexico City and other cities in Latin America.
