Resumen
In this article, we intend to focus on the aspect of “polyphony” (here understood as a variety of “voices”) in the Aetna, a didactic poem written at the beginning of the Roman Imperial Period. Following analyses that have shown Stoic and Epicurean elements in this work, we try to demonstrate that its philosophical texture is not homogeneous. We also comment on the issue of how “polyphony” is reflected in the images concerning the gods.
