El Proceso Educativo de los Seminaristas y su Aporte a la Paz como Derecho Constitutivo en Colombia.

Abstract

Analyzing and questioning the exercise of the Catholic Church -CC.- in the face of peace as a constitutive right is an urgent task for Colombia. In this country, 78.2% of its population professes the Catholic Faith (DANE, 2021). To respond to this significant number of parishioners, the CC has developed the educational process for seminarians, priests, and other professionals. Their mission is to proclaim the "Gospel of peace" (Spanish Episcopal Conference, 2011). Therefore, it has a significant installed capacity, as shown in table No. 13. For this mission's fulfillment, the seminarians' professional educational work towards pedagogy is decisive. Its purpose is the development of professional and evangelizing skills for seminarians and priests, which can be used to transmit, educate, and motivate society in skills for peace
