Abstract

The research seeks to contribute to the implementation of the circular economy model within the framework of the processes associated with the health care service at the La Cardio hospital. This was achieved by characterizing the flows of materials and energy within processes developed to provide health services in La Cardio, determining opportunities for improvement in the environmental management system, which contribute to developing a circular economy model. to finally make the recommendations for the application of the circular economy model in the hospital.
